This policy explains how Dawky Arcade ("we") collects and uses personal information when you use the site. We do not show ads, and we do not sell your data.

Who we are

The data controller is the operator of Dawky Arcade, in England and Wales. Email dawky@designskate.com.

Information we collect

• Account details: username, a hashed password, and an email address if you add one.
• Game information: matches, stats, inventory, tickets, and maps you save.
• Communications: chat, private messages, friends, blocks, and reports.
• Technical information: a sign-in cookie, and the IP address and browser stored with that session.

How we use information

• To run your account, matches, and the rest of the arcade.
• To send password reset email. We do not send marketing email.
• To keep the site secure, including short-lived rate limits based on IP address.
• To moderate chat and enforce our Terms of Service.

Signed-in players can see your username, appearance, and public stats on your profile. Chat and rooms are visible to people in them. You can appear offline, block other players, and limit friend invites in settings. Your theme choice is stored in your browser.

Lawful bases

• Contract: your account, matches, stats, inventory, tickets, maps, chat needed to play, and password-reset email. You asked us to provide the arcade.
• Legitimate interests: sign-in sessions, IP address and browser, rate limits, moderation, reports, and a short security record. The interest is a safe arcade. It does not override your rights.
• We do not rely on consent for marketing, because we do not send marketing email.

Who else receives information

Password-reset email is delivered by Brevo, in France. France is in the EEA. UK law treats the EEA as adequate for this transfer. Brevo uses the address only to send that message.

If you open the Forum, we send your username and email address to that Discourse site so you can sign in. We do not send your information anywhere else.

How long we keep information

We keep account information for as long as your account exists. Sign-in sessions last 14 days. Chat, messages, and match records may be kept after a match ends. If you ask us to delete your account, we will delete it, except where we need to keep a record for security or legal reasons.

Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of your personal information, including a portable copy, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict how we use it, or to object when we rely on legitimate interests. Email dawky@designskate.com. We will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office in the United Kingdom.

Children

Dawky Arcade is not directed at children under 13. You must be 13 or older to use the site.
